WRC: Tanak, wins in Sweden

Estonians Ott Tanak & Martin Jarveoja in their Toyota Yaris WRC win the second round of the World Rally Championship, Sweden. He was in duel with Teemu Suninen / Ford, but the young Fin made some mistakes on the second day of the event. On the podium were Esapekka Lappi / Citroen C3 WRC and Thierry Neuville / Hyundai i20 WRC.

In the general classification, Tanak is holding first place, Neuville holds second, and Ogier holds third. During the same event in Sweden we also had a Romanian crew. Raul Badiu / Gabriel Lazar aboard their Ford Fiesta R2T competing in the Junior WRC, but some bad luck hit them on the first day of the contest, where they went of the course. They are competing under Rally-2 rules and ended the rally on 13th place in the JWRC standings.

The third round of the WRC will take place in Mexico, March 7-10.
