Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus has unveiled its plans for this year’s Endurance Racing season. Accordingly, the team confirms the VLN opening race, the qualifying event and the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring.
In a concise statement that spans just a few words, Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus has publicized its plans for this year’s season. Through its social media channels, the North American-Italian team shared which competitions are on the schedule in the German Eifel: the prelude to the VLN Endurance Championship, the six-hour qualifying event and the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring.
However, the SPX team did not comment on the number of SCG prototypes the Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus intends to use. Last year, the team started the traditional circuit at the foot of the Nürburg with just one SCG-003C sports car during the one-day showdown. Likewise, the question of the composition of the driver’s squad remained unanswered.
At last year’s edition, the pilots ensemble was made up of Thomas Mutsch, Franck Mailleux, Andreas Simonsen and Jeff Westphal. Starting from position 28, the quartet finally saw the black and white checkered flag in 9th place overall. However, the Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus did win the SPX category against the only opponent: Team McChip-DKR.
